Steven Lindsay, Ground Controller

Born, raised and under-grad-educated (University of Glasgow, BSc (Hons) in Chemistry) in Scotland, Steven moved to the US to pursue a future in chemistry. He secured his MS in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and for the last 19 years has worked in sales and business development for various global industrial chemical companies. The majority of people he interacts with on a daily basis have science and technology backgrounds. Over the years, Steven has realized the need for arts integration at an early age, particularly as it applies to young adults who aspire to have careers in science, technology, mathematics and engineering. By incorporating the arts, STEM becomes STEAM based learning, thus giving children a more well-rounded educational experience that will help create personalities with strong creative thinking AND technical skills. Steven has a deep-seated passion and motivation to help develop future creators and is excited be a part of the Drama Rocket Mission!

Outside of teaching and photography, Pamela enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and loves anything that has to do with the outdoors.
Amanda Hayter

Amanda Hayter, Pilot (Lead Teaching Artist)

Amanda has been in love with the arts since her very first living room performance! She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was there that she met her super cool husband, Jordan. Shortly after graduating with her BFA, she moved across the country to Gainesville, Florida to receive her MFA in Acting from the University of Florida. Go Gators! Amanda has been an actor, director, designer, producer, and theatre teacher and she loves it all! When she's not doing something theatrical she is cooking, crocheting, or playing with her dog, Nala. Amanda is very excited to share her love of theatre with her Drama Rocketeers!

Madison McDaniel, Pilot (Lead Teaching Artist)

Performance is her passion. Madison was hooked from the moment she saw her favorite musical on TV, The Phantom of the Opera. She has been teaching drama and all aspects of it for several years, including taking part in and helping to direct large scale Jr. Broadway productions. Madison is currently enrolled in college and working on a pediatric nursing degree. She is also extremely excited about marrying the love of her life this October! She is devoted to her ever-growing family of 7 and loves having fun with them every day. Madison has been immersed in the theatre world for around a decade. Her favorite thing about participating in theatre is how it can develop a talented performer while also building self confidence and character that enables a person to become who they desire to be! When Drama Rocket came around, there was no doubt that this was the perfect program to help do that. Madison is so excited to work with everyone on the Crew and is ready for take off with Drama Rocket!

Mercedes Trejo, Pilot (Lead Teaching Artist)

Theatre, cooking and being creative is really what Mercedes enjoys doing the most! She's had a passion for acting that began when she was 12 years old and it has blossomed ever since. In addition to being a Drama Rocket Pilot, Mercedes also teaches drama for a private school in Kingwood. On the weekends, she teaches and performs with her outreach ministry, Out of Bounds Ministry. Mercedes is currently enrolled in college working towards a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and wants to pursue a career as a chef in the food industry. One of the many reasons Mercedes loves the theatre is that it allows you to be creative, become a different person and can help you get out of your shell! She is thrilled to be a part of Drama Rocket and can't wait to meet her Rocketeers!
